A First...

I suppose now I have to write about my day or my feelings and what not so this blog looks like something someone would want to read.

All right then. I woke up and had my breakfast: Kellog's Special K with spring raspberries from the garden. I read my Wall Street Journal while I sipped my cappuccino made on my very own Elektra (commercial grade) espresso machine. You know, the one with the eagle on top of the brass dome.

Then I kissed my wife and kids goodbye. I wished her luck with the home tutoring and stepped onto my porch where I shot several quail who were nesting in the rose bushes nearby.

I drove my BMW X5 SAV to the office, sat in front of my computer and wrote this nonsense.

Blogging is a sad thing indeed.

Do what I say and not what I do, Olaf. Leave the lying to me, I'm better at it.

I have a problem understanding why someone as busy as yourself would bother with his own blog when you clearly have stated publicly that you have no use for them or the people that keep them.

Are you that desperate for attention, Enzio?

Vince: Don't bother even going there. I'm not the one wasting my life chasing a dream that's taking me nowhere. Get your head out of the sand and do what you'll say you'll do.

Kenny: Salutations from across the pond. I can almost see the cliffs of Dover from my vantage point in Newfoundland.

Did you ever consider that this fishmonger might run a canning plant with several dozen employees? And, am I going to be that forthright with readers of this blog? I enjoy my privacy and especially enjoy tormenting writers whom I consider to be frauds.

I am annoyed, because I AM a screenwriter! ;-)

And I guess, since you're not a screenwriter, I won't welcome you to the Scribosphere!

Now, no need to take that tone with me, Mr. Fun. I did not single you out as one of the so-called "screenwriters" I refer to.
In fact, I will quickly make a distinction on this blog in order to clarify the confusion that I've caused concerning my dislike of screenwriters.

it's a good thing you're not a screenwriter because up there your only hope is getting in on the second string re-write crew for CBC's WW2 docudrama Anne Of Red Green Gables

Let's play "Who Said It"?

"I don't have the time nor the desire to keep a blog -- hence no web page. Personally, I consider them to be the devil's playground ripe with idle minds and lazy people like yourself."

And let's psychoanalyze them if they, then, start a blog of their own within hours of saying it!

By the way, you LOVE Green Berets and anything "Chuck Norris"? Well, that clarifies why you wouldn't want to get into screenwriting!

John, I quickly deduced that luring unsuspecting screenwriters to this non-blog was more fun and efficient then pestering them on their own.

My therapist tells me the blog is a great way to deal with my issues. At the prices he charges, who am I to argue? So your "observation" is moot.

I forgot to include in my movie favorites Sylvestre Stallone and anything with Steve Reeves in it. Thanks for reminding me.

To which Pesto counters, "My therapist tells me the blog is a great way to deal with my issues. At the prices he charges, who am I to argue? So your "observation" is moot."

ABSOLUTELY!
